Zhuhai Lake Resort
Adjacent to the district of Macau, this proposal for a new 80 key resort on a 30 hectare mountain site is centered on a freshwater lake on the South China sea. Garden architecture, an important concept within the Chinese landscape, serves as the inspiration for the resort’s design. Derived from the Chinese concept “from the natural and beyond the natural,” the complex’s landscape binds environment and emotion, amongst interdependent mountains, water and vegetation. Key design elements include natural curves, an organic layout, luxurious style, and permeability and openness, all integrating landscape and architecture to create an ecological experience.
